Evaluation of digital and conventional workflows for prosthodontic planning in smile design; assessment of clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.

The purpose of the study is to compare the clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction of two different smile design planning protocols. These planning protocols are used to design and plan the treatment to improve how the smile looks – a so called “smile make-over”. The aim is to compare outcomes of aesthetic prosthodontic planning using digital tools, to the conventional approach in which traditional stone models and waxing techniques are implemented. We would like to know if there is a difference in these two protocols. That way, dentists can use the most suitable methods for their patients.
