The final day of the AANZP Biennial Scientific Meeting dawned to a spectacular Queenstown morning. While delegates enjoyed the Gala Dinner the previous evening, overnight snowfall created a breathtaking snow-capped backdrop for the conference’s final day.
The morning commenced with presentations from Dr Tony Rotondo on prosthodontic and other adjunctive strategies for managing space and anterior aesthetics and Dr Tom Giblin, who shared updates and future directions in implantology. Following the break, Dr Oon Take Yeoh presented an unconventional perspective on conventional prosthodontics, before Dr Nischal Singh concluded the scientific program with an evidence-based presentation on oral splints for the management of joint-related temporomandibular disorders (TMD).
The meeting concluded with closing remarks from Academy President Dr Bevan Chong, who reflected on another highly successful Biennial Scientific Meeting before announcing Melbourne as the location for the Academy’s 2028 Biennial Scientific Meeting.
